Approved Professional Development Providers

Your LPDC has established a list of Approved Providers of professional development, which indicates recognition that these institutions and organizations support the continuing professional development of educators, consider the delivery of quality professional development as part of their mission, and continually seek to be responsive to the individual needs of educators. This list is not inclusive – educators should seek professional development from providers who are committed to their needs and who have the expertise and skills to train and educate. All educators are encouraged to discuss with their LPDC about any providers who do not appear on this list prior to engaging in professional growth activities which they may wish to use for certificate/license renewal.

Professional development activities from this provider list must still relate to the job assignment and to the approved goals and activities found in the IPDP.

The web-based MyLearningPlan (MLP) system contains an up-to-date listing of all pre-approved professional development providers. Please open the activity tracking feature of MLP to more fully determine the complete list of professional development providers. If the provider is not listed in the MLP system, complete the activity tracking feature and identify the provider in the “other” field for the LPDC approval process.
